National League Wins for Daley, Martinelli & Arnold

The 2016 ESA National League provided some great action despite a lower than usual turnout at the David Lloyd Centre in Leicester.

There was much competition over the weekend where National Titles were at stake in the Open, Veterans and Under 15’s categories plus Saturday & Sunday Cups for the 1 day players.

In the end it was Yorkshire’s Brian Daley (Veterans) and Luca Martinelli (Open) who won the 2 day categories.
They will be representing England at the next FISTF World Cup along with runners up –
Elliott Bellefontaine (Royal) – Open
Jeremy Bradley – (Kent) – Veterans
Well done also to Andy Boyer & John Turpin who finished 3rd & 4th in the Vets and will be our first reserves.

Kent’s Kye Arnold won the Under 15’s for the 5th consecutive year with Thomas Price finishing runner up. Both will represent England at the World Cup as well.

The two Special Cups on the Saturday and Sunday were won by Yorkshire’s Mark Farrell on the Saturday and Kent’s Chris Bowen on the Sunday with Thomas Price (Saturday) & Andy Boyer (Sunday) the runners-up.

Thank you to everyone who took part this weekend and helped to make it a success. Full Results to follow…..
