Lavender victorious in South-West Championships

South West Subbuteo Table Football Championships Report

11 players participated in this tournament on Saturday 2nd June. There were lots of games for all who attended. Kent Invicta’s Brandon Lavender lifted the trophy after seven qualifying matches. In a close final he beat Tony McCann 1-0.

A plate tournament was also played. Bob Fairbrother picked up the trophy also winning 1-0 in an entertaining tussle with Gareth Thomas.

On Sunday 3rd June a Retro tournament was played. 9 players participated in this. Brandon Lavender’s trophy cabinet will be bulging as he added the Retro trophy beating Tony McCann in a repeat of yesterday’s Final. Aaron Skinner won the Retro Plate final with a win against Adam Fraser.
